Once being fully and truly a cloud, then the Cloud must evaporate so the cloud is no more. The spark returns to the source, because even a cloud has a personality, a self, a survival instinct.
Moisture in the air creates a cloud by the moisture condensing into water. Thoughts, desires, fears, condense to make a personality, an ego, Id. That is what Buddha explained as the thought forms causing reincarnation and how to achieve enlightenment. As he said; “one must give up all desires, including the desire for enlightenment.”
Matter is energy condensed. We are thought. Therefore the personality, is just thoughts that are condensed into an individual personality. Fears are the most powerful thoughts.
When we remove desires, the cloud dissolves and the water returns to the atmosphere. This is what Ibn Arabi, the Sufi, explained as the ultimate end, annihilation.
The moisture is still in a bubble around the planet, the atmosphere. Does this mean that we are forever trapped as the thoughts are contained in the universe?
As Hermes Trismegistus said in the Hermetica, that all things must be contained in something, therefore the universe is contained in something larger than itself, and that is our ultimate source, that which is larger than and contains the material universe.
The divine spark must return to its source. The source is outside the bubble of the universe. The spark is trapped in the bubble by its thoughts/emotions. When the cloud dissolves, the spark is free, but the spark must get outside the bubble of the universe and all thought forms to return to the source and that is when the individual spark is annihilated and rejoins and becomes the source it came from.
The fear of death is the ultimate ruler of a human being.
When I am not ruled by the fear of death, I am no longer a limited human. The wall of the bubble of the universe is the fear of death. Free from the fear of death, free from the bubble. The human and any other animal cannot be freed of this fear, instinct rules. I must conquer all instincts.
Desires are created by fears, the desire to have what alleviates the fear, or the desire to not have fear. Desires are born from fear.
What actually happens to a cloud to make it dissolve, or form? The environment changes, drier, hotter, colder. A cloud reacts, exists and disperses in response to changes in the environment.
If I can become free from being effected by anything within the bubble of this world, then environmental changes may effect my body, but not me.
By knowing and accepting the ultimate end of the body, death, which brings freedom from the body, accepting this without fear, there is nothing left to fear, the emotions of fear and desires, and fearful thoughts, no longer are attached to and control the body.
List all desires and ponder if they ultimately come from a fear or pain that you want to end. Eliminate the fear, and desire will dissolve, like the cloud evaporating.
Fear of missing out, is also a fear. Fear is not only what you feel watching a scary movie.
Age, the passing of time, is a big factor in how the mind works. When we go from birth to becoming a mountain who needs recognition, as things change, as we get older, new fears and desires enter our mind.
Life is a collection of fears and desires.
List the different fears and desires you have at every stage of life and return back to the infant who has no fears but only the desire for pain and confusion to end. Then spend your life eliminating all these fears as you know they are not something you are born with, but only acquired through the process of life, which will ultimately end, fears die with your body.
Death is the ultimate redeemer freeing us from all human obligations.
Live a life without any fear or desire. That is a free life in which the cloud dissolves. Then, maybe, your ego will die before your body dies, and you will live freely in your body, to evolve and not return to suffering.
This is the only valuable aim and purpose for a human life.
